Mags
Our first ad campaign is coming to an end. The Tws July 2005 ad which
features the entire team is our last ad of the campaign. So be sure to
keep in eye out for the new listen ads coming in September 2005. However,
you will still see Listen ads running in Slap, Thrasher and The Skateboard
Mag until then. Rodrigo Petersen has the Thrasher ad in
the July 2005
issue while Danny Montoya has the Slap ad in the June 2005 issue and last
but not least Rob Gonzalez has an ad in the July 2005 Skateboard Mag.
There is also a product reviews in the new Slap, The Skateboard Mag issue
#16 as well as Happy Magazine. Thank you all for the support and informing
the community of Listen. It truly means a great deal to us.
Trips/Tours
Listen Skateboards completed there first tour in Colombia this past month.
Danny and the guys consider this the best trip they have gone on in a
long time.
Just read the email that Jon Humphries sent us right after the trip.
“Yo. Thanks for having me along in Colombia. It was one of the best
skate trips I have ever been on. I feel lucky to have such good people
to travel with. Talk to you all soon. I'm going to hook the article up
proper. Take care. –jon”
And Rodrigo’s quote summed up how we all felt during the trip and
it pretty much sums up how we all feel over here at Listen. “I love
this life”.
Thanks to all the skaters in Colombia and everyone who made the trip possible.
Jon Humphries shot a lot of amazing photos and we were lucky to have him
on our trip. The article will be in a future issue of The Skateboard Mag
so be sure to pick it up when it comes onto newsstands
Contests
FTC is holding a street contest up in San Francisco on June 5th.
Danny Montoya and Rob Gonzalez will be heading up for that one. Contact

Damn am will be held at 3rd Lair Skate Park on June 10-12. Brian Brown
and Rodrigo Petersen will be heading out for that one as well as flow

Speaking of Jamiel, he took first place in the 3rd lair’s game of

Danny Montoya and Rob Gonzalez will also be heading out to the damn am
contest to show support for a great skateboard run event. After the contest,
the team will be heading over to Chicago for a demo at Bad Boyz Toyz for

Donnie Mitchell was brought in from the bench and placed 4th for Active
Ride Shop on the tech center obstacle at the Automatic Magazine &

Active will also be starting their Hot Dogs and Hessians Skate Park Tour
Starting on June 3rd and ending on August 19th. They will be held at different
skate parks in southern California every Friday. Check the active website

Videos
Listen Skateboards was given the privilege to be distributing
one of the highly anticipated FTC DVD, titled “A Thin Line Between
Love and Haight”. It is available this month, so get those orders

Lee Smith comes out with some great footage from spots that most Americans
haven’t even skated yet. Adrian Williams tech skating will leave
your minds boggled. Robbie Holmes has the creative styles that are blessed
by Jah. And Jack Curtain sets the video off with his dope steeze. The
rest of the FTC heads also put some good skating together to make this
one of the best shop videos ever. And if you guys missed out on the first

The Trans World Awards will be held at the Henry Fonda Theater
on Hollywood Blvd. in Los Angeles on June 3rd. The premier of the latest
Trans World video, First Love, will immediately follow the awards ceremony.
The event starts at 7:00pm. See you all there.
June 3rd also marks the day of the start of a website contest at www.skateparkoftampa.com
