Happy New Year! Can you believe it’s been a year since we started? It seems like just yesterday, Shimrit, Danny and Rob asked me to be apart of their dream. This has been a great year and right now I just want to say thanks to them for letting me be a part of this great company. It has been an amazing year, we never expected our company to flourish as it has this year. We plan to keep it moving forward in support of our

dreams. However, I need to give thanks to those who have supported us and helped make this the amazing journey we always wished for. Thank you for Listening to Your Hearts and loving skateboarding as much as we do. So, have an amazing new year and I know 2006 will be off the hook.

Mags

As the year ends so does our ad campaign. I know a lot of people have been asking when we will start running skate ads. Well ask and you shall receive. The new ad campaign will drop very soon, so make sure you get the latest copies of all the skate mags. In the meantime, Issue 23 of The Skateboard Mag wraps our last ad campaign, but you can still see some of Rodrigo Petersen’s ads floating around. Rodrigo also has a 2 page spread in the February Slap courtesy of Joe Brook who just underwent surgery for a hernia. Photographers, take it easy on yourselves. You guys carry a lot of weight on your backs, so just be careful.

Trips/Tours

Danny Montoya will be couch surfing on the Zumiez Adio couch tour in January. Check www.zumiez.com or www.adiofootwear.com for tour dates and locations. Rodrigo Petersen went back to Brazil just before Christmas. Lucky him, its beautiful there this time of the year while Brian Brown is not so lucky right now freezing his ass off in New York. Rob G is holding it down here getting some footage and some photos here in Long Beach. Flow Rider Gabriel De La Mora is holding it down deep in Mexico right now filming for a local video. Last time he emailed me, he was in Guadalajara. I hear that place is amazing. I will be out at the surf expo in Orlando, along with Shimrit and Debby, so everyone be sure to come by and be the first to see our new board graphics. We will be next to the mini-ramp at booth #2679. We will also be at the San Diego ASR Jan 20th – 22nd, so please make sure you stop by booth #2200.

Contests

I will be heading out to Tampa Am with some of the flow guys, Gabriel De La Mora, Donnie Mitchell and Jamiel Nowparvar. I'll also be collecting money from Brian Schafer after Penn State takes out Florida State in the Orange Bowl. If you have not entered Tampa Am by now, don't even think of trying to enter. That shit is full. But if for some reason you can convince the guys to let you in, you can get all your info at www.skateparkoftampa.com . After the contest our Flow Rider Gabriel will be headed down to Miami with the DVS ams for mini tour. Good Luck Gabriel. 

Videos

Last month I mentioned something about a video from Minneapolis. It's a Benji Meyer production and I still haven't gotten a definite date for the premier. It will be sometime in January and Flow Rider Jamiel will have a full part in it.

We distribute 411 Video Magazine. So make sure you get the newest issue 13.4 featuring Listen riders in the Rotterdam photo contest bonus section. And if you still haven't seen issue 13.3, get it. Rob G has a butter part in it.

Misc.

We here at Listen are proud to announce that Rodrigo Petersen will be married on January 10th. Congratulations Rodrigo! We wish you all the best in the world.
