The term that bests describes Listen and our philosophy is street-level. This phrase has many meanings. Being an independent skateboard company with no major distribution house funding us, we had to start from the bottom, the street-level, and work our way up. If anything being an underdog gives us more heart. We are Listen, we live and die for this!!! We have seen something you don't see very often among Corporate America. We have seen and felt the passion and love for skateboarding unlike any other. However, within the past years we have also seen this industry turn a cold shoulder. People forget what this is all about. We've seen corporate companies come in and turn the industry's beliefs and foundations into mud. We have witnessed how quickly money can make people forget why they are truly here and why they do what they do. We honestly feel that many have forgotten what skateboarding is about. Your board, the pavement, building memories and lifelong friends. Keep it street level hang out with kids, do demos, spread the love. We will go anywhere, talk to anyone. We will bring back the passion, the love and most importantly the FUN to skateboarding. When skateboarding was under the radar, that's when it was most inventive and at it's purest.
